Treatment of Digestive Disorders -Dyspepsia In Ayurved

Dyspepsia:

 

Cause : Disordered bile secretion due to unregulated diet.

 

Symptoms : Loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea, flatulence, vomiting or retching, heartburn, bad breath, etc.

 

Treatment: Brihat Agnikumar Ras for loss of appetite; Bhaskar Lavan for constipation; Mahasankha Bati in bad diarrhea; Bajrakshar for flatulence. In the acute stages of the disease the medicine should be selected according to the day-to-day symptoms. In the chronic stage three or four kinds of medicine may be applied together. When the medicines are used conjunctively, chronic dyspepsia usually clears up in two or three days. Other specific medicines are: Hingwastak Churna, Subhra Saindhabadi Churna, Parpati, Barabanal Churna, Barabanal Ras, Brihat Hutasan Ras, Pasupati Ras, etc.
