Urinary Calculus Or Kidney Stones:
Cause: Drying up of bile and phlegm cause this condition.
Symptoms: Stones can dwell in the kidneys for a long time without causing suffering. Perhaps a little pus may pass out from the penis with urine and cause some pain, but when the stones pass into the ureter, severe pain is felt from the testicles to the waist, and sometimes from the heels up the backside to the chest. The Other urine comes out by drops, then suddenly stops. symptoms such as shivering, retching, and inflammation of the testicles. The difference between this disease and the two preceding ones is that this disease starts and grows slowly. Urination does not cease at the beginning.
Treatment: Pasanvedi Churna (1-875 grains) with saltpeter juice and honey; Barunadya Lauha, trifala juice and honey; Tarakeswar Ras, calcus aromaticus juice and honey. Saribadi Bati is very useful. The whole body, and especially the stomach, should be Barunadya Taila or Usiradya massaged with Taila. Barunadya Ghrita is efficacious. It can be given at every stage except when there is fever; it should be given with warm cow milk. Excessive air and bile may cause the testicles and bladder to swell up and give a burning sensation. For the patient feeling weakness, swooning, flatulence, shivering, depression, chronic fever, thirst, vomiting, etc. and for inflammation of the testicles and bladder, give Jogendra Ras with trifala juice and honey. Chintamani Chaturmukh may also be given in these conditions.
Diet: Kulatha kalai, mugh, and mushuri lentil soups, figs, trichosanthes dioica, gourd (chal kumra), stems of the gourd plant, and other vegetables, fish soups (magur, kai, khalisha ), hog-weed, ginger, and fine rice ( old stock). In fever give milk, barley, and gruel of parched rice. Raisins, pomegranate, grapes, oranges, pineapples, etc. are excellent for the patient. Bathing should be done in tolerable warm water.
Pungent and acid foods should be avoided.
