Calculus Due To Checked Semen:
Cause: If the flow of semen is checked at ejaculation, the semen is forced to lodge in an uncongenial place where it is dried by air, and calculi form.
Symptoms: Pain in the bladder, great difficulty in urination, swelling of the testes, and, if prolonged, continuous flow of semen.
Treatment: Saribadi Salsa and Pasanvedi Churna, Brihat Bangeswar, Kusabaleha, Barunadya Lauha, etc. Barunadya Taila should be massaged on the whole body or lower abdomen. Barunadya Ghrita is also efficacious. Punarnabasab is to be taken if there is swelling of the testicles.
Diet: Kulatha kalai, mugh, and mushuri lentil soups, figs, trichosanthes dioica, gourd (chal kumra), stems of the gourd plant, and other vegetables, fish soups (magur, kai, khalisha ), hog-weed, ginger, and fine rice ( old stock). In fever give milk, barley, and gruel of parched rice. Raisins, pomegranate, grapes, oranges, pineapples, etc. are excellent for the patient. Bathing should be done in tolerable warm water.
Pungent and acid foods should be avoided.
