FEMALE DISEASES:
Delayed Menstruation
Healthy women of this country usually begin their monthly menstrual flow at the age of 12 or 13 and continue it up to 40 or 45. Some girls do not have it regularly, and some case to have it after one or two times. This may be due to poor health consequent on chronic ailments, or to the obstruction caused by the unbroken hymen.
Treatment: Rajaprasadani Bati, Nastapuspantak Ras, Abalabandhab Jog, Asokarista, Asoke Ghrita, and Asoke Bati. These are all wonderful medicines for this complaint. If delayed menstruation is due to broken health, prescribe Kumarkalpadrum Ghrita for the patient. This will improve the health and regularize the flow.
Amenorrhea
Absence of menstruation may be due to physical malformation or uterine diseases causing anemia.
Treatment: Abalabandhab Jog, Rajaprasadani Bati, Asoke Bati, and Asokarista are to be taken. Kumarkalpadrum Ghrita is a good drug for those with weak health and amenorrhea.
Irregular Menstruation
The monthly flux appears every 28 days and continues for 3 to 5 days. Any deviation in this routine is termed irregular menstruation.
Treatment: Abalabandhab Jog, Asokarista, Asoke Ghrita, and Asoke Bati.
Scanty Menstruation
Treatment: Aabalabandhab Jog, Asokarista, Nasta pushpantak Ras, Kumarkalpadrum Ghrita, Rajaprasadani Bati, Saribadi Salsa, Saribadi Bati.
Menorrhagia
Excessive menstrual flow may be caused by hard labor, a hurt on the lower abdomen, straining in bowel motions, working in the cold, blood pressure, etc.
Treatment: Pushyanuga Churna, Pradarantak Lauha, Asoke Ghrita, Kshirkalyan Ghrita, Abalabandhab Jog, Asokarista, Asoke Bati, Saribadi Salsa and Saribadi Bati.
Painful Menstruation
This is usually due to excessive gas arising from grief, mental disturbances, accumulation of blood in the uterus, chohabitation before menstruation, and exposure to cold. The pain may grow to the waist, anus, and the whole body.
Treatment: In addition to the medicines for scanty menstruation, give Chintamani Chaturmukh with pow red cardamon (big size) and honey. Asokarista, Saribadi Salsa, and Saribadi Bati are also excellent.
Chlorosis or Green Sickness
A peculiar form of bloodlessness incidental to menstrual disorders is called Chlorosis. The patient becomes yellowish.
Treatment: Brihat Lokenath Ras, Chandanadi Lauha, Rajaprasadani Bati, Badhakari Bati, Asokarista, and Asoke Ghrita.
